Pin Code is 6 Digit code used for an Address Location. Also suffix of Address Line.

PIN  full form is POSTAL INDEX NUMBER

How PIN Code to be Determined ?




It's a combination of Area and City/District and State and Zone. There are set of digit called Codes.
Here is the PIN Code Structure
First Digit Indicates the Zone/Region.
Second Digit Indicates Circle/Sub Region.
Third Digit Indicates Division /District
Last Three Digits Indicates Post Office(BO/SO) of that local Area.
